For more than 15 years, Grammy-nominated trio Khruangbin has captivated audiences with their blend of soul, psychedelia, dub and global influences. The band moves as one fluid unit, but within that lies the unmistakable tones of Mark Speer and Laura Lee – coveted by fans and fellow artists alike.
Fender’s collaboration with Khruangbin felt inevitable and all the more special as it coincided with the 10-year anniversary of their debut album. On the eve of a milestone hometown show, we traveled to Houston to film Khruangbin in their longtime studio and rehearsal space.
