I’m a creative director and writer known for delivering a singular voice and narrative edge that’s both emotionally resonant and strategy led. Backed by a uniquely diverse writing background that includes deep roots in music and culture and a rare blend of journalistic credibility and strategic brand insight, I tell stories with authenticity – bringing brands to life through human, conversational messaging that feels lived-in yet purposeful.
I got my start in the late 90s at Spin Magazine, where I interviewed lots of bands, wrote lots of words, saw lots of shows and stole lots of beer when no one was looking. I then joined the Brand Creative team at VH1 as Editorial Director, where I drove the network’s messaging strategy across all global marketing campaigns and tentpole events. In 2018 I landed at Fender as the Director of Brand Copy, where I had the incredible privilege of leading the brand voice and creative vision for one of the most iconic guitar-makers on the planet.
